Menurut The Pulse of Radio, mantan gitaris Guns N Roses, Slash mengatakan kepada Entertainment Weekly bahwa ia tidak ingin melihat serial TV Hit “Glee” memakai tema Guns dalam episodenya atau bahkan menyanyikan salah satu lagu Gun N Roses.
Slash berkata “We got asked about that once already but it got turned down. In the current climate of what's going on in entertainment these days, I try to be more optimistic than negative because it's really easy to get negative about it, but I draw the line at 'Glee'."
Dalam wawancara lainya, Slash juga mengomentari mantan rekan 1 band nya dalam Gun N Roses, Axl Rose yang terpilih sebagai vokalis rock terbesar sepanjang masa.
Slash berkomentar “pretty fucking cool ! We may have had our differences and this and that and the other, but I will never undermine the fact that I thought GUNS N' ROSES, when it was originally together, was one of the best rock bands, and Axl has always in my mind been one of the best frontmen/lyricists in rock and roll, period."
Menurutnya, Axl Rose yang menjadi vokalis rock terbesar sepanjang masa adalah fakta. Ia juga menambahkan bahwa Axl Rose adalah salah satu penulis lirik Rock and Roll yang terbaik.
Gitaris Velvet Revolver itu juga mengatakan bahwa keputusan mengenai vokalis baru band tersebut akan diumumkan dalam beberapa minggu ke depan. Saat ini Velvet Revolver diisukan sudah bekerja sama dan sepakat dengan salah satu penyanyi yang cukup terkenal.
